The Sports Management Group is recognized nationally for its work in every aspect of planning and development of recreation, sports, aquatic and community facilities. Established in 1986, the firm's practice is dedicated to recreation planning for both communities and institutions of higher education. Founder Lauren Livingston has assembled an outstanding team of specialists from the fields of recreation, aquatics, programming, facility design, financial services, operations and management. The Sports Management Group has been privileged to work with over 200 communities and 100 universities in 38 states as they have planned and developed facilities to enhance their recreational and sports opportunities.

We work with communities to plan facilities that serve as the "heart" of the community, bringing together citizens of all ages and interests. Our planning includes community and senior centers, cultural arts spaces, and space for health and wellness partners. In working with colleges and universities, we plan facilities that are the social and recreational hub of the campus and that provide for the fitness, health and wellness needs of the students.
